CalDigit’s docks do support VLAN under macOS and Windows platforms.
If your Thunderbolt 3 device shows up as a USB device instead of a Thunderbolt 3 device, please follow the next instructions.
If the external monitor connecting to Thunderbolt or USB-C dock is flickering, try the following tips.
Jumbo Frames are Ethernet frames that can carry more than 1500 bytes of payload and can go up to 9000 bytes. All CalDigit Thunderbolt Docks can support Jumbo frames.
If your dock is not outputting any sound on your Windows 10 computer, ensure that this dock is approved, selected as the primary output device, and not using ‘exclusive mode’.
CalDigit’s Thunderbolt 3 docks, such as the TS3 Lite, TS3 and TS3 Plus are all compatible with the iPad Pro 2018 (USB-C) while connecting it as a USB-C device.
The following steps show the NVRAM resetting for your Macs which includes non-Thunderbolt, and Thunderbolt 1, 2 Macs.
In order to connect a DVI-D monitor to the DisplayPort port on USB-C Dock, an active DisplayPort to DVI-D adapter or cable is required. A regular passive DisplayPort to DVI cable will not work.
