As a new year has started we are excited to see what 2021 will bring for CalDigit’s product line, and the first of those products is our new USB-C HDMI Dock.
The standout feature of the USB-C HDMI Dock is that it supplies up to 94W power delivery. Up until this point Thunderbolt 3 docks offered in the region of 85-87W of power delivery. The USB-C HDMI Dock takes it up to a whole new level by offering 94W.
The benefit of 94W will be great for anyone using larger laptops that require more power, such as the 16″ MacBook Pro, or larger Windows PCs.
The USB-C HDMI Dock has two built-in HDMI 2.0b ports for connecting dual monitors. The dock is capable of outputting dual 4K 60Hz displays when connected to a Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, or USB4 (40Gb/s) computer*. Apple M1 based laptops only support a single external display through their Thunderbolt 3 port, and USB-C users can check the USB-C HDMI Dock webpage for full monitor compatibility.
In addition to being compatible with traditional laptops, the USB-C HDMI Dock also works on USB-C tablets such as the iPad Pro, iPad Air (4th Gen), and Windows tablets.
The USB-C HDMI Dock features 10 ports in total including three USB-A (5Gb/s) ports, a USB-C (10Gb/s) port, an SD 4.0 UHS-II Card Reader, Gigabit Ethernet, an audio combo port, and the two HDMI 2.0b ports.

The USB-C HDMI Dock is available to purchase now from the CalDigit Online Store.
*Some Windows PC manufacturers have decided to limit their Thunderbolt 3 ports to a single display only. Check to see if your Thunderbolt 3 PC supports dual displays.
