Introducing the Thunderbolt 4/USB4 Element Hub

We are delighted to announce our first Thunderbolt 4/USB4 specific product, the Element Hub. As a new generation of Thunderbolt and USB are now available we have been working to design what we believe to be the most powerful hub available.

The Element Hub is eight times more powerful than a USB-C 5Gb/s hub, and four times more powerful than a 10Gb/s USB-C hub. Offering 40Gb/s performance, the Element Hub is a blank canvas to connect the devices you need.

The Element Hub is not only Thunderbolt 4 and USB4 compatible, it is also Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C (USB 3.2, 3.1) compatible. This powerful hub will adapt to the host device it is connected to, providing the features available by your computer. Check the Element Hub webpage for the capabilities of your computer when used with the Element Hub.

One of the greatest features of Thunderbolt 4 is the ability to have up to four Thunderbolt ports on hubs or docks. This means that you can connect more Thunderbolt devices than ever. When connected to a Thunderbolt or USB4 computer the spare Thunderbolt ports on the Element Hub can be used to connect Thunderbolt, USB4 or USB-C (3.2,3.1) devices. When connected to a USB-C host computer the Thunderbolt ports can be used to connect USB-C (3.2,3.1) devices.

When connected to a Thunderbolt or USB4 host computer the spare Thunderbolt 4/USB4 ports can be used to connect a single monitor up to 8K resolution, and for anyone looking to add dual displays the Element Hub supports up to two 4K 60Hz monitors.

The four USB-A ports on the Element Hub all offer 10Gb/s performance for connecting fast USB accessories to the device. If you need to add USB-C accessories you can always connect them to the Thunderbolt ports on the back of the device.

The Element Hub provides up to 60W laptop charging, and when not connected to a computer the device’s eight ports can be used to offline charge all of your USB-C and and USB-A accessories.

You can pre-order the Element Hub in the US and UK starting from today via the CalDigit Online Stores for a discounted price. The Element Hub will be shipping in the US from mid-February 2021. It will be shipping in the UK, Europe, Asia, and Australia from March 2021.
