My Thunderbolt 3 Mac Laptop automatically boots up when I plug In CalDigit Dock or Storage?
Apple has implemented this new hardware feature into Thunderbolt 3 laptops from 2016 and 2017 as well as the models of USB-C MacBook line from 2017. These Apple laptops now automatically boot up when a power source is connected, which include Apple charger and CalDigit Products that provide power to connected host computers such as: The CalDigit USB-C Dock, Thunderbolt Station 3, and AVPro 2.
