Setting Up a Network Connection on a Thunderbolt Dock – Windows

Make sure that the Thunderbolt Dock is plugged into your computer via Thunderbolt cable and that the blue LED light on the front of the dock is illuminated.
Connect your network cable to the Ethernet port located on the back of the unit.
Verify the network connection by going into Control Panel and clicking “View network status and tasks”

Once in the Network and Sharing Center, you can verify your network connection by looking in your active networks and ensuring that the connection is labeled as ‘Ethernet’. If you do not see a network, please verify that this ethernet cord can is receiving a network and create a new one by clicking on the ‘Set up a new connection or network’ option.
