Alle USB-Anschlüsse des TS5 Plus bieten 10 Gb/s Leistung und 7,5 W Strom (ausgenommen der vordere USB-C-Anschluss mit 36 W).
*USB-C- und USB-A-Anschlüsse sind nur für Datenübertragung. Monitore müssen an die freien Thunderbolt 5-/USB4 v2-Anschlüsse angeschlossen werden.

Herkömmliche Thunderbolt-Docks haben nur einen USB-Controller, den sich alle USB- und Thunderbolt-Anschlüsse teilen. Die zwei separaten 10 Gb/s-Controller im TS5 Plus bieten mehr Bandbreite für angeschlossene Geräte – ideal für Nutzer mit mehreren bandbreitenintensiven USB-Geräten.

Das TS5 Plus ist ein einzigartiges Gerät und bietet mit seinem 36 W USB-C-Anschluss eine leistungsstarke und praktische USB-C-Frontschnittstelle – ideal selbst für die stromhungrigsten USB-C-Geräte.
Nicht nur der vordere USB-C-Anschluss liefert 36 W, auch die beiden freien Thunderbolt 5-Anschlüsse tun dies. Frühere Thunderbolt-Generationen boten nur 15 W. Das TS5 Plus hat diese Leistung mehr als verdoppelt, um Ihren Geräten noch mehr Strom zu liefern.

Bandbreiten-Boost
Wenn bandbreitenintensive Monitore an das TS5 Plus angeschlossen werden, wird Bandwidth Boost aktiviert, um Displays zu priorisieren – mit bis zu 120 Gb/s Leistung. Für den Rest des Docks bleiben 40 Gb/s verfügbar.
Dadurch können Displays mit höheren Bildwiederholraten sowie drei 4K-Displays bei 144 Hz an das TS5 Plus angeschlossen werden.
3 Monitore unter Windows
Thunderbolt 5 ermöglicht das Anschließen von 3 externen Monitoren an einen kompatiblen Windows-Computer mit Thunderbolt 5. Zwei Monitore können an die Thunderbolt 5-Ports angeschlossen werden, ein weiterer an den DisplayPort*.
*Für die Verwendung von drei Monitoren ist ein kompatibler Windows-PC mit Thunderbolt 5 erforderlich. Apple Macs mit M4 unterstützen keine drei Displays über eine einzelne Thunderbolt 5-Verbindung. Thunderbolt 4-Windows- oder -Mac-Computer unterstützen ebenfalls keine drei Displays.
10 Gigabit Ethernet
Der CalDigit TS4 war das erste Thunderbolt 4-Dock mit 2,5 GbE-Port. Mit dem TS5 Plus gehen wir vier Schritte weiter und integrieren einen 10 GbE-Anschluss.*
10 GbE bietet die zehnfache Leistung von herkömmlichem 1 GbE in vielen Docks, mit Datenraten bis zu 10 Milliarden Bits pro Sekunde.
Bisher benötigte man für 10 GbE an einem Laptop einen separaten Thunderbolt-Adapter. Beim TS5 Plus ist diese Funktionalität integriert – spart Platz und Zeit. Der 10 GbE-Port ist auch kompatibel mit 5 GbE, 2,5 GbE und 1 GbE-Geräten.

SD & microSD 4.0 UHS-II
Das TS5 Plus verfügt über SD- und microSD-Kartenleser an der Vorderseite für einfachen Zugriff. Beide Ports unterstützen UHS-II-Geschwindigkeit und können gleichzeitig verwendet werden.
Rear Host Port
Die meisten generischen Thunderbolt-Docks verfügen über einen Frontanschluss für den Host, was zu einem unordentlichen Kabelmanagement führt.
Apple SuperDrive
Geräte wie das Apple SuperDrive sollten laut Apple direkt an ein Notebook angeschlossen werden, da sie mehr Strom benötigen. CalDigit hat einen Treiber entwickelt, mit dem das SuperDrive direkt an das TS5 Plus angeschlossen werden kann.

Offline Charging
Der vordere USB-A-Anschluss, alle USB-C-Anschlüsse sowie zwei hintere USB-A-Anschlüsse des TS5 Plus ermöglichen das Offline-Laden.
