Why DisplayPort?
The inclusion of DisplayPort over other video outputs on the TS3 Plus and mini Docks is due to its versatility. DisplayPort allows users to connect to virtually any monitor they need. DisplayPort to HDMI, DVI or VGA cables are widely available. * Active adapter/dongle is required to convert from DisplayPort to HDMI, DVI, and VGA.
Thunderbolt™ 3
The spare Thunderbolt™ 3 port on the TS3 Plus allows users to connect a second monitor through the use of a USB-C Video Adapter. For more info on CalDigit’s USB-C Adapter click here.
